Please note that in addition to a very good Bachelor's degree and admission to a Master's degree program in engineering, you must meet one of the following requirements in order to participate in the program: Former employment at thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG (apprenticeship or permanent position) or former/current working student/internship/thesis or child of an employee.

Pia Fork - From trainee to process performance expert at thyssenkrupp Steel

After successfully completing her mechanical engineering studies at Ruhr University Bochum, Pia Fork ventured into the exciting world of the steel industry and found her way to thyssenkrupp Steel. As a process performance expert, Pia plays a key role in the area of technical optimization and increasing efficiency in the cold rolling mills.

1. Online application

Applications for our Master's scholarship program are possible annually from May 15th to August 15th. You will find the link to the relevant vacancy on our website during this period.
Please be sure to read our information on application requirements before submitting your documents. The online application only takes a few minutes.

2. Our recruiters check your application

You will receive a confirmation of submission by e-mail from us within a few minutes. Our colleagues who coordinate the Master's scholarship program will check your application documents and contact you after the end of the application period (from August 15).

3. Selection day

If you are a suitable candidate for the program, we would like to invite you to a selection day. There you will introduce yourself in person to representatives from HR, the relevant department and members of the Works Council. The selection days usually take place in September.

4. The acceptance

If you are accepted, we will send you the corresponding contract. Of course, we will also inform you in the event of a rejection.

5. Your start with us

The time has finally come. It's time to start: Welcome to the Master's Scholarship Program at thyssenkrupp Steel!

How long does the application process take?

After the end of the application period on August 15th, you will receive feedback from us. The subsequent selection day usually takes place in September.

When does the Master's scholarship program start?

The Master's scholarship program starts in the winter semester.

What does the selection day consist of?

On the selection day, you will introduce yourself to representatives from HR, the relevant department and members of the works council. This allows us to get to know you better.
