N-A-XTRA® / XABO®
Developed by ThyssenKrupp Steel more than 40 years ago, quenched and tempered special structural steels have proved ideal for reducing the deadweight of highly stressed steel structures. Various grades are available in minimum yield strengths up to 160 ksi and plate thicknesses from 1/8” to 4”.
N-A-XTRA® and XABO® grades can also be supplied as cut-to-length plates in thicknesses up to approx. 3/8”. Due to their very close thickness tolerances of ±0.008” they offer weight reduction benefits as well as advantages in terms of cold forming.
