Heavy plate made from special structural steel makes steel structures not only lighter and longer-lasting but also more cost-efficient. The Heavy Plate Profit Center of ThyssenKrupp Steel offers its customers worldwide four-high mill and cut-to-length plate for a variety of applications, produced on modern production facilities at the Duisburg-Süd Heavy Plate Center.
We are geared toward fulfilling the special requirements of our customers and supplying tailored steels. In addition to normal structural grades, steels for pressure vessels, shipbuilding and large pipes, we also excel in special grades:
