Career
Dieter Kroll, born in Duisburg on April 17, 1956, completed an apprenticeship as a skilled steelworker at the August-Thyssen-Hütte steel mill.
After holding numerous positions as youth representative, works council member, chairman of the General and Group Works Councils and member of various supervisory boards at ThyssenKrupp Stahl and ThyssenKrupp AG, Dieter Kroll was a member of the Executive Board of Rasselstein GmbH from May 1, 2001 to December 31, 2004.
Married with two children, Kroll was appointed to the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Stahl AG as HR Director on January 1, 2003. From October 1, 2005 he was HR Director on the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Steel AG, responsible for Personnel/Social Policy. Effective October 1, 2009 Dieter Kroll is HR Director responsible for Human Resources on the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG.
