With a view to constantly improving processes and products, the business strategy of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG is supported by an all-embracing quality management system based on the EFQM model and systematically targeting business excellence.
All production sites are certified to ISO 9001 and the additional requirements of the international auto industry standard ISO/TS 16949. The laboratories of the Research and Development department and the calibration laboratories of the Energy/Plant Management unit are EN ISO/IEC 17025 accredited.
Raw materials, spare parts, packaging and services are sourced from suppliers who are integrated in this quality system.
Direct responsibility for comprehensive quality assurance rests on many shoulders throughout ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG.
The ongoing improvement of our quality management system as well as comprehensive training and promotion of employee capabilities provide the framework.
