We attach great importance to vocational and ongoing training. The DOC® offers apprenticeships for chemical laboratory and mechatronic technicians. DOC® staff can take advantage of a wide range of in-house and external further education courses. Targeted personnel development measures prepare them for top technical and management positions.
At the DOC®, women and men work together in teams, with equal opportunities and rights. Numerous women already hold leadership positions at the DOC®. In 2003 and 2005 the trade union IG Metall honored the DOC® as “the most female-friendly company in Dortmund”.
